Losing, it is really hard. It’s more than just
not getting the price that you might have been aiming for, but its living your
life everyday knowing somebody else is enjoying that price. Losing is part of a
balance, yin yang, losing and winning, taking and giving, loving and hating. It
is what life is made of. We lose every day, consciously and unconsciously.
People have different ways of getting over the fact that they lost. Some move
on after congratulating the winner, others smirk, never accepted the defeat and
continuously convinced their selves that they were cheated, others sour grape
and find ways to get back to the winner. These sour-grapes never see reason and
chose to act without thinking about fairness. They wanted to get back and
usually they don’t get back to the right person. Well, we are all part of a
huge web we call humanity. Without these people, we will never see compassion
and we will never be able to appreciate simple things like encouragement and
hugs. Losing is inevitable, as inevitable as the sun rising and setting. We
have to deal with it with grace, rage if you want, just don’t let it consume
you for years nor months nor weeks. It will destroy the chance of better
opportunities and peace of mind and happiness.
