As I mentioned on my previous post, I have put my nails on nail polish hiatus to get rid of the yellow tint. The one who did my nail during the big day said it's a sign that my nails are soaked with color. I always do my own nails and getting comments like that from somebody who does it for a living is something. So after my hiatus, why not put some love in my nails? I saw a really nice Ombre heart nail design on Pinterest and I wanted to try it out. It looked so easy.

I got looove!
I got love on my toe! I just want to share this amazing thing on my toe before the love month ends. Here is a chip on the nail like no other. It's heart shaped, and it came about naturally. Amazing, right? Please disregard the still obvious eewness of my toes

How to: Diagonal French Tip Nails
I have always marveled at hose perfectly done nail tips and I have always attributed them to uncanny , superhuman steady hands of an artist. When I found out that there is a trick that would allow me(with coffee-induced unsteady hands) to do it my own, I got so excited. If you've read my previous blog entries, you'd notice that I'm no fan of salon manipedi. I prefer to do it myself. I don't like other people tinkering into my nails because I don't like the use of nippers. I thank God and my genes for the easy to maintain nails that has been passed on to me.
This week's nail peg is Diagonal French Tip

Bobbie's Magnet-ficent Polish
I got this bottle a
month ago, but I was too enamored with the whole ombre nails project so this baby
took a backseat.

| Bobbie's Magnet-ficent Polish in GR-101 |
I've been
looking for this kind of green for a very long time so when I bought this, I
didn't really mind why it's smaller and more expensive than the rest, I was too
excited to notice anything. Only when i got home and peeled away the top
sticker did I realize that this is the magnetic nail polish kind that I read
about before. Like a child, with a new toy, I immediately tested it on my pinky
finger. The instructions said, you have to hover the magnet over the nail
before it gets dry. I followed the instructions by heart, but still found
nothing special with it, no patterns whatsoever. On the other hand, I totally
love the color and its very very rich texture. You can achieve the color with
just one coat.

My Attempt at Ombre Nails
My friend Gang, told me about this ombre nails
thing and how it's done. Omre's all the rage in fashion now, from clothes to
hair and now to my nails! I immediately fell in love with it when I looked at
pictures of it online and I wanted to try it right away, and of course I did it
myself. I was lacking some major stuff so I had to wait a few days until I got
my hands on them plus I was also growing my nails for a bigger canvass. I had
several go’s before it looked presentable. I had fun doing this, and I'm definitely
trying this out again!
