Windows 8 is here, almost! The latest Operating System from Microsoft is now available for pre order, the wait is almost over. The upgrade price for the pre order is $69.99 USD and it is available at select stores like Microsoft Store, Amazon and Staples.
I applaud Microsoft for their commitment on preserving our environment, hurray! Your Windows 8 packages will be coming in paper-based materials, which makes it weight 40% less.They have reduced green house and gas emissions and fossil fuel consumption by a whopping 80%! Good move Microsoft.
If you want to wait out, until October 26 though, you may get a better deal. You can get the online upgrade version for $39.99 USD. Windows 8 Pro supports 140 countries, is available on 37 languages and can be processed on 23 currencies.
