IMHO: #Selfie

IMHO: A #selfie is when you take YOUR OWN picture. A selfie can also be done in groups, wherein the picture taker is included in the shot (eg: Ellen's Oscar selfie) aka: “groupie”. 

Well im ranting about this because a lot of people seems to be misusing the word a LOOOT, even international celebs with their publicists and all. It’s a new word, a really new word so misuse of the word should not be that rampant yet. The word had been closely associated with the boom of social media, I mean this is our generation, let’s not embarrass ourselves please.

A solo picture of you does not automatically make it a selfie, nor is a selfie absolutely a solo picture of you.(basic logic.duh!) When you go to a studio to have your yearbook picture taken, you don’t call it a selfie.  

So when you call ALL solo pics as selfie or when you start saying "pa selfie sa ko diri beh" sabay hatag sa cam/phone sa imong kauban or when you post "my selfie in [insert latest katkatable]" and I see your entire body (from your ungroomed cuticles sa toes to the tips of your greasy hair)
