How to: Enabling Virtual Home Button in iOS devices

I'm a novice iOS user, I don’t know my way around iTunes and I'm helpless with data transfer and functionality shit. Anyhow, I have noticed that my friends have this floating home button and I found it annoying at first. They said its because the home button has an unfortunate tendency of malfunctioning when overused. I pondered upon that and I realized that it makes sense, so I joined in. My problem was, I don’t know what it’s officially called and how to enable it. So I did a little searching and here’s what I found. I hope this helps all other none savvy users like me.

It's called Virtual Home Button and to enable it you have to follow the steps below:

 Go to Settings then General

then Accessibility
Then you have to scroll down and enable Assistive Touch

And VIOLA, you now have the Virtual Home Button and it's going to float around your screen like a ghost.

iOS has vexed me for so long yet I love it to death.  I fell in love with its simplicity and no-nonsense operation, yet I still think iPhones are overrated.
You see the conflict here?
